Supporting and developing features for the Meroxa Platform. The Meroxa Platform allows users to quickly and easily create data pipelines, using the Conduit OSS solution under the hoodKey Projects- Push to ProdWorking on a ground up project to build a CLI to simplify software deploys. Focussing initially on popular PaaS platforms we are leveraging AI and orchestration workflows to deploy projects using natural language- Exposing pipeline logs to customersWhen customers create apps on the platform, a Conduit data pipeline is created. The work I did here is allowing customers to be able to securely access their Conduit logs to gain observability into how their data is flowing through the pipelines. To make this happen, I used Loki, multiple OpenTelemetry instances and Kafka. Blogged about it here: https://meroxa.com/blog/flexible-logging-with-opentelemetry-loki-and-kafka/- Custom WASM processors Conduit supports developers being able to customize their data pipelines by building WASM processors that can be loaded in at runtime. I extended our platform to be able to expose this functionality. This involved updating the Conduit Kubernetes operator as well as changes to our web backend. Also, as part of this work I created a POC AssemblyScript SDK for creating WASM processors - Improve orchestration implementation. Shortly after joining the team I worked with two team members to revamp how our platform orchestrated Conduit instances. This involved introducing a new REST API, moving to make use of a durable workflow backend (go-workflows) and a lot of testing
