About Nate Campbell

I love science and making a difference. These are not always easy things to do in the Project Controls field. So I\'ve tried to always seek out projects that I can be passionate about.I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Caltech and MIT team for the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (ALIGO) upgrade through completion. Not long after completion of this project they were able to prove Einstein\'s theories on gravitational waves, but detecting them with the instrument. This was a gigantic leap forward for science and astronomy and a huge achievement for the National Science Foundation.I\'m now working on another major science mission. The Advanced Photon Source Upgrade (APSU) project at Argonne National Lab. This project is funded by the Department of Energy and played a major role in the development of the COVID 19 vaccines. This upgrade will advance the capabilities of science in tremendous ways.
