About Nathan R. White
I have a wealth of experience in basically every area of civil/commercial litigation, including appeals, business and commercial disputes, employment law, shareholder derivative litigation, trade secret disputes, corporation and LLC dissolution issues, claims against professionals including attorneys, accountants, broker-dealers (FINRA), and medical professionals, commercial arbitrations subject to American Arbitration Association rules, claims for insurance proceeds and wrongful denial of insurance coverage, coverage opinions, government and administrative enforcement actions and appeals, probate, estate, and trust litigation, condominium/HOA disputes, consumer protection actions, and catastrophic personal injury matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. In my time as a litigator, I\'ve tried cases (first-chair and second-chair), briefed and argued appeals, represented clients in arbitration and mediation, briefed and argued basically every type of motion there is (including dispositive motions and Daubert/expert motions), taken depositions, managed discovery (including in large-document cases with the use of Relativity and other discovery-management software), represented clients in TRO and preliminary injunction hearings, prepared pleadings, counseled clients, worked with insurance adjusters and other claims personnel, and probably some other activities I\'m forgetting just now.I also have significant compliance and transactional experience, including in relation to internal audits, employment law issues, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) compliance, FTC Act compliance, franchise law, and medical privacy and data security including HIPAA and HITECH Act compliance.I took a temporary leave from full-time law practice in late 2022 for health and family reasons. Since then, I\'ve been enjoying a new opportunity of teaching high school. I\'m now ready to return to full-time law practice.
