The goal of the program is to accelerate personal growth, professional development, and leadership identity of high-potential students within the College of Business by using principle-based leadership practices.Following a rigorous application process, Select Leaders begin the process of discovering their leadership potential through leadership curriculum like \"7 Habits of Highly Effective People\" and self-assessments such as LIFO. We also have the opportunity to participate in 360-degree feedback and coaching sessions. We get to apply what we have learned during engagements with real-world executives by going on networking trips to engage with professionals in other cities. All of this opportunity results in members being able to utilize our leadership skills to serve others through mentoring younger students in the program and leading other student organizations on campus.
