About Nathan F.
I\'m excited to step into my latest role as a Design-Build (EPC) Project Manager, where I’ll lead projects with a strong focus on proactive communication, efficient execution, and early scope definition. My project management approach emphasizes aligning key stakeholders from the outset, identifying potential challenges early, and setting clear expectations to streamline workflows and avoid costly surprises. I’m committed to fostering collaboration across disciplines and with our clients, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle, and delivering results that meet both design intent and client definitions of success. By combining strategic planning with responsive coordination, I aim to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned with a shared vision of success. As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, I was responsible for leading Mechanical design teams on various projects as well as performing design tasks myself. These design tasks included HVAC load calculations, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating, HVAC and hydronic system design, LEED analysis and sustainable design, Industrial Ventilation, and Commercial and Industrial plumbing systems design. My career has been built around designing unique solutions to all types of facilities, from commercial offices to large-scale manufacturing and paint facilities. I also have extensive experience in Revit MEP and helped pioneer my division\'s Mechanical Revit template by building custom equipment, creating and modifying shared parameters, building custom equipment schedules, and testing add-ins to increase productivity. I also acted as a part of our divisions\' Production Management Team (PMT) where I was responsible for production consistent deliverables, incorporation of best practices, project execution, and production/project standards. I enjoy the challenge that each new project brings and believe my skill set will uniquely impact the success of the project for my clients. My greatest passion continues to be training, mentoring, and equipping the next generation of rising stars within Burns & McDonnell. You\'ll hear a lot about our company\'s culture, but the willingness to share what we know is at its core. I believe that leadership is not just about titles and compensation, but about giving of your time and talents to those around you.
