Mechanical Integrity Engineer - Upstream Thermal, Cold & EOR Facility Integrity Engineering Management - Provide specialized technical support and guidance to Thermal, Cold, & EOR assets related to piping, valves, and mechanical equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers and boilers - Complete integrity assessments for piping and process equipment and prepare/issue technical recommendations - Prepare ASME code calculations for pressure vessels and piping (minimum thickness, flange design, stress review, etc.) and provide guidance on equipment integrity, remaining life, and required inspection intervals- Assist facility engineering teams with troubleshooting process and equipment issues, including failure analysis reviews, root cause investigations, and development of mitigation action plans - Support engineering and inspection teams with interpretation and review of industry codes standards, including ASME B31 & B16 series codes, ASME BPVC [SEC I, II, IV, V, & IX], ASME PCC Codes, and API 510, 570, & 650 - Develop and review repair procedures for process piping and pressure equipment as per ASME PCC-2 & NBIC Codes, with a specific focus on atypical repairs and alterations - Develop major equipment gasket torque specifications and procedures in accordance with ASME code - Prepare and review piping stress analysis models to support facility projects and maintenance activities - Assist with the development of company technical specifications and provide clarification on technical requirements and review deviation requests for both internal and external engineering teams
