ABOUT NATHAN LAY
As the Executive Staff-Training and Readiness Director at US Navy, I leverage my 20+ years of experience in military aviation and training to advise senior leadership, develop and implement strategy, and monitor and optimize budget and performance for the aviation community. I have a Master\'s degree in International Business from Brandman University, Part of the Chapman University System, and I am proficient in naval aviation accounting practices, managing an annual operating budget of $150M.I am passionate about enhancing the capabilities and readiness of the naval aviation force, and I have successfully designed and executed training programs and readiness reports for 24 individual military commands, increasing fleet readiness by 24%. I have also gained a firm understanding of strategic, global security environments, working with various nations and a diverse group of leaders and technical experts during my tours in Bahrain and Italy, and my deployments across the globe.
