Led NVIDIA GPU instance setup, support, conventions establishment for LLMs for 10 Data Scientists - Conducted thorough testing with Test Kitchen For Chef - Developed new data pipeline using PySpark through EMR to move and aggregate data from S3 into Cassandra - Moved 10 billion records from Redshift to Cassandra - Support Data Scientists with training at scale through EC2, Batch, SQS, Glue, EMR, S3, and Glacier - Migrate EMR 5.33.x to EMR 6.8 for faster experimentation training times. Reduced training time by over 50% per model and saved over 10k a year - Led Egress filtering project with support from Product Security team to lock down external network connections through all AWS Services (EC2, EMR, Batch)- Migrated and reworked terraform repository to better support multi-region cloud and various AWS services. Improved and streamlined process and communication between Data Scientists and our team with spinning up EC2 instances saving over 30 minutes per user per day- Led migration to Ubuntu22 instances for over 30 EC2 instances and EBS volume with terraform using in depth documentation and constant communication with Data Scientist owners.
