ABOUT NATHANIEL MOREIRA

Nathaniel is the leader of a PwC Security Compliance team providing assurance services for global and US security and technology programs. In this role Nathaniel provides support for ongoing global and US internal audits, performs assessments for global security and technology services, and assists in the obtainment of external certifications/attestations for PwC global security and technology services. Nathaniel has deep experience in IT audit and assessment, third party assurance reporting (e.g, SOC 2), and compliance readiness activities. Nathaniel has 11 years professional experience assisting with, executing, managing, and leading Information Security and Privacy-related projects and activities that support or evaluate the capabilities of a robust Information Security Program (ISP) across highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Information Technology, and Healthcare. Nathaniel has advised clients in strategic and operational enhancements to their Information Security and Compliance Programs with autonomy. Nathaniel has led 2–6 small to large (1–40 employee) multi-disciplinary teams in executing the strategic and tactical objectives of the project plan for all aspects of a security or risk assessment (ideation, sales, planning, budgeting, scoping, execution, supervising, issues management, risk treatment, ongoing monitoring, and reporting).
