About Nathaniel Lucek
I am a corporate and intellectual property attorney that works with companies, universities, and entrepreneurs across the US and Europe. I began my legal career in-house at a $1B revenue/year global corporation. When I was in-house, I managed patent, trademark, and contract matters for a diverse set of product lines and coordinated IP, IT, and corporate issues during our $4.9 billion acquisition. I later switched teams to join my law firm, where I work on patent preparation/prosecution, handle intellectual property due diligence for M&A projects, and provide support for intellectual property litigation. I have worked on intellectual property projects related to ion implantation technology; semiconductor capital equipment; silicon wafer production; manufacturing processes for semiconductors, solar cells, and LEDs; optical and imaging systems; industrial chemicals; superconductors; nanomaterials; metal alloys; biomedical devices; touch screens and displays; body armor; and image processing algorithmsI regularly help European companies with corporate formation, contracts, technology licensing, or protecting brands and innovations. My team produces regular content for European companies about how to start US operations.I also found a use for my experience during college as a radio DJ. Now I co-host the Semi Interesting Podcast discussing the latest legal and technical challenges in the global semiconductor industry.
