A cohort of 22 Fellows, the Class of 2023 was selected from a pool of approximately 180 nominees from across the country. The new class of community and civic leaders possesses a diverse cross-section of geography, profession, race, religion, and political ideology. Launched in 2019, the Fellowship invests in and cultivates the next generations of national leaders, across political ideology and other differences, to explore and forge solutions to the biggest issues facing our society including but not limited to racial injustice, mental health advocacy, economic disparities, and more. Fellows address these issues on both communal and societal levels, contribute toward collective progress, and preserve our nation’s democracy.

ABOUT NATE WONG
NATE SERVES AS A PARTNER AT THE BRIDGESPAN GROUP, a leading social impact consultancy helping donors, non-profits, and impact investors catalyze transformative systems change. He is also an ADJUNCT PROFESSOR AND LECTURER at Georgetown University where he pioneered an open-sourced course called Building a Social Impact Consciousness.Nate is a Fellow of the CIVIL SOCIETY FELLOWSHIP, a part of the ASPEN INSTITUTE and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Nate also currently serves as a Fellow at THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF ARTS (RSA) and THE CENTRE FOR PUBLIC IMPACT, a non-profit of Boston Consulting Group, both rooted in the common belief that accelerating social change hinges on all sectors operating in concert. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of several non-profits including the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) and CharityVest.Previously, Nate helped launch, direct and scale three social impact units: one at Deloitte Consulting/ Monitor Deloitte, another at Boston Consulting Group’s non-profit, the Centre for Public Impact in the US where he served as Deputy Director, and thirdly at Georgetown University\'s Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation where he served in roles including Managing Director, interim Executive Director, and Chief Strategy + Social Innovation Officer. He has worked with government leaders, impact-driven corporations, funders, and organizations to maximize their positive social impact, working in over 10 different countries. Nate has worked on issues around economic development/ mobility and inclusive entrepreneurship including stints at Obama Foundation, Acumen, Endeavor, and TechnoServe. Nate has written for Fortune, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Business Insider, and other publications on the latest trends in the social innovation space. Nate has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
