More recently, I successfully undertook a secondment as a Senior IT Audit Engineer before moving back into data.In the last 4 months of my time at Skyscanner, I was working in the newly formed PrivTech team, both ensuring Skyscanner remained compliant and starting greenfield projects to put traveller privacy first. In my free time I love to travel the world, study German, cook, hike, and play board / video games (I\'m currently loving Baldur\'s Gate 3).I would describe my skills as a bit of a Swiss Army Knife - Skyscanner engineers have to wear many hats in their day to day. I am proficient in DevOps, CI/CD, AWS (and Cloud Concepts), Big Data and Data Pipeline Engineering (Including Kinesis and Kafka), Python, Java, and more recently, accelerating workflows through AI (GitHub Copilot).
