As a member of the Events, Coordination, and Outreach team for the iJay Practicum at Creighton University, I play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing events that showcase the intersection of education, technology, and innovation. My team is responsible for engaging the Creighton community and beyond, creating opportunities for students, faculty, and local businesses to interact with Apple technology in meaningful ways.Key Responsibilities:Event Planning & Execution: Organizing workshops, product showcases, and interactive events that highlight Apple’s ecosystem and its applications in education and business.Campus & Community Engagement: Strengthening relationships with student organizations, faculty, and external partners to increase awareness and participation.Apple Partnership: Collaborating directly with Apple to ensure that events align with their educational initiatives and branding standards.Marketing & Promotion: Creating promotional materials, leveraging social media, and developing strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement.This hands-on experience not only strengthens my event planning and leadership skills but also provides direct exposure to Apple’s corporate structure and educational outreach strategies—a unique opportunity to work closely with a global tech leader while making a tangible impact on Creighton’s campus.
