About Nathan Handwerker
In my freshman year of high school, I decided to study Mandarin Chinese on a whim. As fate would have it, this small decision led me on a string of study abroad programs and domestic Mandarin language programs that would ultimately expand my worldview and shape my career. Language learning carried over into cultural understanding, which in turn carried over into my academic and professional pursuit of understanding China\'s political economy. Today, I use this expertise to solve business issues. Currently, I work with Rhodium Group\'s China Markets Research team and manage our engagement with fund managers and institutional investors. Our team provides independent research covering China\'s domestic macroeconomy and financial markets.
