About Nate Fair

I\'m a Penetration Tester with Sprocket Security. At Sprocket, we help our clients\' maintain a strong security posture through continuous penetration testing and social engineering engagements. Passionate about information security and security consulting with a proven track record of delivering high quality value to customers across a number of domains. I enjoy researching and diving deep into technical areas. I actively participate in and help design CTF competitions. I teach part-time at my alma mater. I help design, create, and instruct the Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking curriculum to young security professionals and help prepare them to enter the workforce. I also volunteer on the BSides Cincinnati organizing team. I helped design and create the inaugural CTF competition for BSides Cincinnati in 2017. This included designing and creating the hosted infrastructure and various challenge categories such as network exploitation, forensics, technical/non-technical trivia questions, web applications, open source reconnaissance, and binary exploitation.
