With over 18 years of experience in data analytics, forecasting, and financial planning, I am a Senior Manager at Discover Financial Services, leading a team of data analysts in providing Oversight and Effective Challenge for Loss forecasting activities within the organizing.My mission is to leverage my skills in SAS, SQL, snowflake, Teradata, and MS Office to explore and understand business and operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and empower business partners and technology teams in finding short-term fixes and long-term solutions. I also have a strong background in financial planning, having acquired FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses, and completed a certificate course in financial planning from DePaul University.Previously, I was a Data Science Manager at Discover, where I led a team of data scientists to forecast inbound call demand across all deposit business lines, using time series models such as ARIMA and UCM. I performed analysis on forecast variance, new product initiatives, and cost variations, and presented findings to senior management. I also designed, developed, and maintained a dashboard for ongoing performance monitoring, and managed relationships with key stakeholders from finance, marketing, operations, and staffing teams.I am currently pursuing a MBA in data analytics from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where I am learning to apply advanced data analytics techniques to solve complex business problems and drive strategic decisions. I am looking for a leadership role in the fields of forecasting, data science, and business analytics, where I can capitalize on my experience, skills, and education, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
