ABOUT NATE COBURN
I was born and bred in Alexandria, Virginia. I went to university in Norfolk (THE Old Dominion University), where I double majored in Business Analytics and Marketing. Wrestling has been a big part of my life since grade school so I walked onto ODU’s Division I program my Junior year after an All-American finish in the Greco-Roman event of University Nationals. After graduation, I dabbled in consulting briefly, before becoming the Executive Director for Virginia’s chapter of USA Wrestling. After two years under the helm of USA Wrestling, I jumped into advertising and haven’t looked back. I continue to coach at the high school and MMA levels (so a bad back and knees are in my near future), but I’ve enjoyed taking the strong work ethic and discipline I’ve learned from wrestling into the advertising space. I am able to champion for my clients, treating each project like a new tournament, ensuring my clients are in the best shape, on weight, well-nourished, and ready to scrap. When I’m not in the office or coaching, you can find me climbing mountains, snowboarding down them, golfing, or finding any excuse to venture somewhere new in my home of the Pacific Northwest.
