ABOUT NATHAN BOMBRYS

Innovative sports industry leader with a track record for helping owners achieve their vision for their organizations by growing brands, increasing revenues and building winning teams. I have led sports organizations through exceptional periods of commercial growth and sporting success. I have enjoyed Championship winning experiences with professional clubs in British Basketball, Premiership and PRO14 Rugby - some of the best days of my professional life. I am motivated by the challenge of helping organizations in unconventional circumstances achieve their potential – for example, rugby in the football hotbeds of Manchester and Glasgow. I find such situations really help bring out the best in me and others to drive collaboration and innovation to create new opportunities for revenue and growth and apply a strategy to win against the odds.Unique in rugby, I am originally from Michigan, USA and travelled to the UK to play rugby at a higher level after finishing my degree at Syracuse University in 1997. I ended up staying a bit longer than my initial plan, but I have built many lasting friendships and unique experiences (generally as the only American in the room) in European professional rugby. People who have worked with me describe me as entrepreneurial, highly competitive and creative, with an ability to create a vision for the future and apply a cohesive strategy toward achieving that vision. I value integrity, trust, teamwork, creativity and innovation, and I do like to win when the game is on. I love to collaborate with people who share similar values, and I believe that working together and achieving a collective vision with your teammates is one of the best feelings in the world.
