    Serve as a Director for KPMG Financial Services Advisory in the Operational Risk Group focused on helping banks develop strategies and processes to meet evolving client needs for both credit and payments products. Assist organizations in identifying operational risks and control enhancement opportunities, including addressing regulatory issues as well as the integration of key processes and systems.KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, is the U.S. member firm of KPMG International Cooperative (\"KPMG International\"). Thoughts expressed here are my own.EXAMPLE ENGAGEMENTS:• Led cost restructuring for Branch and ATM operations for a top 10 US Bank resulting in ~$47 million in identified savings.• Led development of the vendor selection process and RFP for a new Commercial Loan Servicing System for a global bank.• Led e2e loan origination redesign for business lending for a large regional US Bank. Supported vendor selection and gained corporate approval for the chosen solution, nCino. • Led PMO for design and deployment of a multi-channel Residential Mortgage Loan Origination System (BKFS Empower) for a community bank. • Led target state process design and procedure development for a newly developed KYC / AML team for the Commercial Term Lending group of a top 5 US bank and performed RCSA development, KRI identification, and operational risk reporting requirements definition for target state operating model.• Led current state process and operational risk assessment across the Wholesale Credit process for a top 5 US bank including associated Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Developed target state processes to mitigate identified risks and control gaps and ensure regulatory compliance. • Drove delivery of Risk Governance and Strategy including risk roles and responsibilities for first and second lines of defense, approach for risk appetite statement development, and scorecards for KRI / risk reporting for a mid-size regional bank.
