About Nathanael Sohn

I am a UI/UX Designer who has a background in IT Risk. I first entered public accounting to establish myself as a business professional and learn the ins and outs of various corporations\' internal processes. While I learned a lot from conducting IT audits and risk assessments for companies within the healthcare, retail, financial tech, and banking industries, I wanted to pursue challenges that required more creativity and empathy. After discovering the UI/UX Design industry, I knew I could combine my passion for art and IT consulting experience to help corporations make an impact on their users. I am well-versed in design tools, such as Figma, AdobeXD, and Marvel and UX research, and design concepts & processes including user interviews, personas, user stories, usability testing and affinity mapping. I am currently assisting a personal training/fitness company redesign their onboarding, home, and scheduling features while tackling the company\'s user drop-off issue.
