A Principal Consultant and experienced Power System Engineer working at TNEI within Innovation & Data Science.Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.I have worked across TNEI, National Grid, and the GB Electricity System Operator (now NESO), developing a broad skill set across power system operation, access planning and design. My experience spans operational planning - assessing and coordinating outage plans for implementation by the Electricity National Control Centre (ENCC); strategic planning - evaluating system access and designing large scale transmission reinforcements to ensure compliance with the NETS SQSS; and customer connections – compliance for new connections, including setting harmonic limits for connectees.I have extensive experience delivering power system analysis, including load flow, transient stability, fault level analysis (IEC 60909 / EREC G74-2) and harmonic assessments (EREC G5/5).Proficient in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, IPSA and PSCAD, as well as VBA and Python scripting, I am passionate about applying advanced technical tools and analytics to solve complex energy challenges and drive innovation in power systems.
