Mr. Herring is a Managing Director in the Asset & Liability Management (Treasury) Group for The PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he manages PNC\'s $9.3B Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) program and oversees Business Continuity for the Corporate Treasury Group.As the manager of one of the industry’s largest and most active BOLI programs, Mr. Herring has executed several new policy purchases, policy exchanges, policy restructures, and the integration of BOLI programs from several acquired institutions. He serves as the chairman of the PNC Corporate Owned Life Insurance Committee.As the director of Business Continuity for the Treasury Group, Mr. Herring serves on the PNC Business Continuity Steering Committee and directly oversees business continuity planning and testing for nine business processes within four business segments. He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional. He was previously responsible for the administration and credit performance of $7B of whole loan mortgage portfolios and integrating the treasury functions of acquired banks.Mr. Herring has been employed by PNC for more than twenty-five years and has served on committees for the Consumer Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association, including a term as chairman of the ABA Compliance Executive Committee. Mr. Herring earned a B.A. from Grove City College and an M.B.A. from DePaul University.
