About Nathan Valles
I am a third-year undergraduate journalism student at the University of Georgia. I am currently studying Journalism with a minor in Sports Management. I am also pursuing multiple certificates at the moment, including my Sports Media Certificate, New Media Certificate, and News Literacy Certificate. I am currently working with the Red and Black as a Spanish editor and a sports contributor. I am also working for DawgVision, working on production for sporting events in Athens. My objective is to work play-by-play for a baseball team or work in baseball media, whether that be podcasting or just working a social media account. It also captures some of my interest to build that bridge with the Latino community and ensure that there is better coverage and representation in the newsroom.
