WORK HISTORY
Nasa Engineering Pathways Intern @NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Cape Canaveral, FL, US
As a Pathways Intern supporting Robotics, I work on advancing lunar surface systems.Robotics Engineering Duties:• Designed the modular disconnect system for NASA’s RASSOR lunar excavation robot using Onshape and Creo, enabling tool interchangeability through integration of COTS components and tolerance-based design• Led fabrication of a voxel-based lunar shelter prototype by sourcing materials and coordinating with machine shops. The structure will be used in testing and mission proposal efforts• Converted robotic hardware prototypes into flight-like systems by collaborating with machinists and suppliers, enabling tool activation for future regolith operations• Modeled a thermally optimized motor mount to prevent overheating in Elmo motor drivers during extended test operations• Maintained PLM documentation to ensure revision control and cross-team coordination• Supported development of a shear test fixture to characterize lunar regolith simulants, contributing data to mobility system requirements
