WORK HISTORY
Director of Compliance, Risk Management and Contracts @Unc Eshelman School Of Pharmacy
Chapel Hill, NC, US
As Director of Compliance and Risk Management for the UNC-Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy, I am responsible for identifying potential areas of activity where the non-compliance with federal, state and University regulatory requirements would put the core activities of the School, such as innovation, research and academic excellence, as well as the School\'s world renown reputation at risk. I am responsible for developing training programs, evaluating the level of knowledge of and comfort with compliance frameworks. Serve as the one of the School\'s Conflict of Interest Chairs, a member of the University Policy Review Committee and the University\'s Compliance an annual compliance audit that focused on specific new regulatory areas or risk areas of concern to the School\'s leadership. Audit has provided analytics necessary to develop focused training programs to reduce the non-compliance risk in the identified areas.Developed a new on-line site for the School to house all of the policies, procedures and processes (the 3Ps) at the request of the School leadership. Site houses all of the relevant policies, procedures and processes that faculty and staff regularly research or access. Allows staff and faculty to more easily access them on the School webpage as opposed to having to search the entire University site.
