About Nathan Stein

Nathan Stein is an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley and currently serves as the Global Head of Operations, Communications and Engagement for Diversity & Inclusion. In this role, Nathan is responsible for operational oversight of the global DEI function, leading a coordinated and strategic communication strategy both internally and externally, and delivering a comprehensive engagement strategy through the Firm’s global employee networks. The role includes project and budget management, communications oversight, strategic planning, relationship management, and collaboration with key stakeholders across the Firm. Nathan is also responsible for building and managing relationships with external partners that align with and help drive the development and implementation of strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Nathan focuses on helping Morgan Stanley build a diverse workforce that not only reflects the markets and communities that Morgan Stanley serves, but also one that is aligned with the Firm’s core values of putting clients first and doing first class business in a first class way.He is actively involved in the Firm\'s Pride & Ally LGBT+ Employee Networking Group. He helps shape programming and policy initiatives that drive engagement between LGBT+ employees, ally\'s and clients globally.Nathan began his career with Morgan Stanley in 2009. Prior to his current role, he has held various leadership positions in Diversity & Inclusion and Marketing. He is based in New York City and is a passionate world traveler.
