ABOUT NATHAN PAOLANGELI

I am a senior at La Salle University double majoring in finance and mathematics. I made the decision to study finance because of my love for accounting all throughout high school. With that passion, I was able to compete in international DECA competitions where I placed top 20 in the world. Wishing to continue exploring my strengths and interests, I am involved on campus as the president of our school’s investment club where we discuss market news, analyze investment opportunities, and participate in trading-based competitions. When it comes to studying mathematics, I pursued that double major as a way to improve my critical thinking skills and challenge myself. Outside of school, I am a Division I athlete running both cross country and track for La Salle. Running has been an important part of my life, and it plays a substantial role in who I am as a character. My athletic experiences have taught me the importance of goal setting, evaluating performance, and how to be competitive amongst my peers. I am looking to bring these same attributes to the work environment and become a top performer within my field. If I had to say what I value the most, it would be learning. I have always had an eagerness to study and master new topics, as I believe that it continuously keeps me on my feet. My goal for any job and my overall career is to never stop learning. I want to be adaptable to today’s environment and to do that, requires an ability to be open-minded as well as the grit to understand what is becoming more relevant.
