Since 2024, I’ve been contracted through my consultancy, ThriveMore Ltd, to deliver strategic project support to Andrews Charitable Trust (ACT), helping them transform the Establish programme — a housing initiative for young people leaving care or homelessness.Previously, charity partners managed both housing and support under lease agreements. This blurred responsibilities, created cost pressures, and left young people relying on support workers for everything, including housing issues.ThriveMore Ltd was engaged to redesign the operating model. Andrews Property Group now delivers housing management on ACT’s behalf, and young people hold Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs), giving them real-world experience of managing a tenancy. Charity partners now focus entirely on support.Housing management is now fully in-house at APG, increasing visibility across the business. Staff are more engaged, working directly with tenants and supporting the group’s social purpose. The project has also opened up new opportunities for fundraising, mentoring, and future work experience.The programme now operates with clearer roles, improved governance, and forward planning built in. ThriveMore Ltd continues to provide consultancy support into 2025 as Establish prepares for its next phase of growth.**Winner of the Business Charity Award - Outstanding of the ESTAS People Choice Award**
