About Nathan Makela

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Nathan leads with empathy and a passion for people and collaboration. Nathan finds joy in empowering others, enabling clients to catalyze change for themselves and their teams. He considers it a privilege to have a career in which his priority is to help people and organizations reach their fullest potential. Nathan received his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College, where he worked as editor of the school newspaper. Harnessing a background in writing and journalism, his unique abilities allow him to thrive in the fast-paced environment of professional services, particularly through his attention to detail, direct communication and language skills, and capacity to handle the considerable deadlines/priorities of the modern workplace. Prior to joining SBI, Nathan worked as a Client Success Manager and Digital Learning Specialist at Sales Readiness Group, where he played a principal role in SRG’s development of and transition to virtual and blended learning offerings.
