About Nathan Luce
Coaching has always been very enjoyable and fulfilling. With 16 years of coaching experience in multiple offensive positions including offensive coordinator, I bring a unique approach to the offensive unit.My approach is simple, but many programs struggle to deliver an offense that is fundamentally sound, balanced and aligns with their player and offensive strengths. It’s not about installing plays that I want but what best fits the offensive talent. As we grow as a team offensively, so can the types or complexity of plays but in the end, we will always stick with our core strengths.As an offensive leader, I’m engaged in play-calling, offensive game plan strategies, play formations, and spot opponent defensive weaknesses. Schematically, I have operated in spread offenses throughout my collegiate coaching career, with additional experience coaching in the spread option, air raid spread, and shotgun hybrid wing-t systems.I am no stranger to high academic institutions from my experience at Rhodes College, Kenyon College, and Colorado College. Recruiting is something that I take pride in, especially, when it comes to connecting with potential athletes making a critical life decision in choosing a college. Maintaining academic standards has always been of utmost importance. Coaching has always been my passion and I look forward to opportunities to grow in my career!
