About Nathan Linares

As a Business Administration major at the University of Oregon, I am passionate about pursuing a career in the business industry. I have gained valuable skills and experiences through multiple internships within the athletic department, where I have contributed to the success of the football program and the university. Currently, I am a Football Recruiting & Personnel Intern and a Player Development Intern at UO, where I analyze high school recruits\' game footage, cut up film using XO\'s, create detailed spreadsheets, track student athletes\' academic progress, and lead tours of the facilities. I have also been an Athletic Ambassador for over two years, managing day to day operations of the program, assisting with marketing and event setup, and conducting tours for corporate executives. These internships have enhanced my XO\'s, Excel, time management, communication, and leadership skills, and have given me a glimpse of the immense amount of resources and opportunities that the sports industry offers.
