About Nathan Khan

Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional and Certified Construction Manager with expertise on T&D power delivery systems and experience applying project delivery practices as a Consultant, in a Contractor organization and a regulated utility environment. In my current role at Burns & McDonnell, I support the successful delivery of Transmission & Distribution projects and programs. I currently manage the Grid Investment Program that Burns & McDonnell is executing on behalf of Georgia Power to enhance service and reliability in communities across Georgia, supporting Georgia Power’s $1 billion investment over the next three years.Prior to joining Burns & McDonnell, I served as a Project Manager for Allteck Line Contractors, an operating unit of Quanta Services, where I developed critical knowledge in planning and execution, project controls, construction management, bidding, integrated project performance management, and team leadership. I supported several divisions including transmission, distribution, substations, and underground facilities and led strategic initiatives, which allowed the company to operate more efficiently. In previous roles as a Project and Asset Manager in a Utility, I oversaw a portfolio of transmission systems with an aggregate budget of $200M. I successfully delivered 100+ projects, led initiatives to improve processes related to project delivery, provided expertise in identifying engineering risks and recommending improvements to engineering designs, and resolved critical issues during implementation.
