About Nathan Holder
I have been working as an engineer in the energy/utility industry for over 20 years, primarily working with electric utilities and their customers, with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable/solar technical assistance, utility incentive programs, electric rate structures, bill analysis, and program filings.I joined Advanced Energy in 2005 as a mechanical engineer, consulting with manufacturing facilities to improve output, reduce energy costs and improve product quality and overall efficiency. My work consisted of providing various industrial and commercial clients energy assessments, strategic energy management plans, and training/outreach services. I also served as the \"Energy Manager On Loan\" for a local college where I provided technical assistance on how energy is being used, comparing energy use metrics across buildings and with other campuses, and determining appropriate conservation goals and targets.In my current role as a Business Development Manager, my primary tasks involve writing technical proposals and presentations/reports focusing on our energy efficiency and renewable/solar services, developing business and sales plans, creating budgets and financial forecasts, building new and maintaining existing client relationships, providing educational and outreach materials/presentations, and adhering to project management principles.
