ABOUT NATHAN NATE HARRIS
Kia OraAfter 10 years of playing professional rugby for the Bay of Plenty Steamers, Chiefs, Māori All Blacks and New Zealand All Blacks, I had to medically retire in 2021. Since then, I have started my own business offering private rugby coaching for all levels, and keynote speaking. I believe that there is a lack of support around all our future athletes dealing with pressure, who they are as a person and what the plan B is. Retiring from sport is a tough transition for any age, especially if you are financially benefiting through this period. All athletes will face some type of mental adversity. My goal is to develop these athletes while they are playing sport to understand how they have been so successful. Once they gain that knowledge it can help increase performance but also help the individual transition from sport into study, apprenticeship\'s or whatever their hearts desire. This will minimise the amount of adversity the athlete will face in \'the real world\'. Private coachingI am taking everything that I have learned and gained over a decade of professional rugby, as well as my teaching/coaching studies and experience, and putting it into helping develop the next generation in New Zealand rugby. My aim is to give every player the tools they need to succeed, whatever their goals may be. After all, what better way to work on your skills, strength, fitness and game play than with a private or group coaching session(s) with an All Black? I have put together a range of options for individual athletes and teams. Keynote speaker opportunityI have an incredibly engaging life story and a wealth of experience in many different aspects of work culture that I am looking to share with the rugby community, schools and businesses. My goal is to inspire people through sharing my story, and to share the knowledge and life skills I have gained throughout my professional rugby career. I have a range of topics that I cover within my session, including resilience, leadership, facing adversity, what winning looks like, building a culture and goal setting. I am not limited to these topics, and if you would prefer to have a tailored session based on one or a couple of specific topics I can arrange this also. I look forward to hearing from you and building a session to inspire or motivate your team Nathan
