About Nathan Hammond

Nathan is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions tax practice in PwC’s Southeast market. Prior to returning to the Southeast Market, Nathan completed a secondment with the M&A Tax practice of the firm’s Washington National Tax Services office. He has extensive experience working with financially troubled companies that have completed taxable and tax-free reorganizations both under jurisdiction of a bankruptcy court and in out-of-court restructurings. Nathan also regularly advises on public and private acquisitions, dispositions, entity rationalization, post-deal integration and strategies for preservation and utilization of tax attributes. His experience in advising domestic and multinational corporations on these transactions has spanned a variety of industries including the energy, industrial and consumer products, real estate, entertainment and recreation, infrastructure and other manufacturing industries.
