Handle ad hoc reporting requests of all different types. My major focus is on the Complaints and Grievances department. But also, utilization management, condition management, disease, regulatory, hospital, health vendor, product, etc. • Use various resources (SQL database, Access, Medhok, Genesys, etc.) to code and mine data for reporting requests. Also assist in maintaining databases. • Ensure that regulatory quality guidelines are met on all reporting. Code reviews, peer reviews and data reviews. • Pull data and create reports to assist in regulatory audits to ensure UPMC is within guidelines for all governmental products. Attend regulatory audits as a data expert to speak to the processes and the reasoning behind the data. • Automate reports that are requested on a recurring basis. Code in SQL, build in Visual studios and deploy to report server for scheduled subscriptions. • New hire liaison for the department. Create new hire schedule, monitor learning exercises, ensure system access and training. • Work with business owners to ensure that reports and data are optimized to meet their needs.
