School Age Director @You\'re Invited Children\'s Center

Developed teaching strategies to work with school-age children completing homework assignments. Managed and submitted End-of-the-month paperwork that included all sign-in and out sheets, all employee hours for the last pay period, tuition payments for the month, and subsidy paperwork. All had to be sorted, categorized, and then given to the director and founder of You\'re Invited. Advised a team of 2 to 3 staff members to work in a codependent capacity to help supervise and maintain licensing standards and measures. Facilitated working with various subsidy programs for tuition, CalWORKs Stage One, CalWORKs Stage Two, CalWORKs Stage Three, CalWORKs Families, and Alternate payment programs. Led, planned, and coordinated with other teachers and community leaders to create a summer program for school-age and preschool children that included but was not limited to weekly and daily trips to the parks, free lunch, Libraries, Museums, Zoos, local amusement, and water parks. Traveled between 2 organizational sites to ensure consistent and cohesive structure across both locations. Supervise between 20-28 children at a time – before and after school. Developed relationships with parents, children, and staff to provide a conducive learning environment.
