ABOUT NATHAN DUIMERING
Nathan Duimering, C.Tech, brings over 22 years of experience in design, modeling, and CAD drafting for a wide range of municipal infrastructure projects. His project portfolio includes urban and rural road reconstructions, roundabouts, signalized intersections, forcemains, pumping stations, stormwater management systems, and site development projects. He is highly proficient in several software applications, including Civil 3D, ARCADY, AutoTURN, and the Microsoft Office Suite.Nathan has developed specialized expertise in roundabout design, having completed advanced geometric and software training programs and delivered presentations and webinars across Canada and the United States on the subject. He provides senior-level guidance to MTE’s design staff on roundabout analysis, geometric design, grading, pavement markings, and signage for roundabout intersections. To date, Nathan has designed nearly 30 roundabouts, with Roundabout Check Packages for Regional roads, as well as multiple urban subdivision designs within Kitchener and other jurisdictions.As MTE’s CAD Practice Leader, Nathan is spearheading the company’s efforts to modernize and enhance our CAD standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and continued delivery of high-quality technical documents to our clients. In addition, he serves on MTE’s Innovation Team, which is dedicated to exploring and implementing emerging technologies, systems, and ideas to continually improve the way we work.
