About Nathan Doss

With over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am currently the Interim Director of Operations at Convention Center at Sheraton Memphis Downtown, where I oversee the food and beverage, banquet, and purchasing departments. I am also the Executive Steward and Purchasing Manager at Sheraton Memphis Downtown, a role that I have held since February 2023. In this capacity, I manage the inventory, budget, and sanitation of the kitchen and stewarding operations, as well as the vendor relations and contracts. I have a Six Sigma certification, a ServSafe Manager certification, and a Diversity Champion certification, which reflect my skills and commitment to quality, safety, and inclusion in the hospitality sector. Before joining Sheraton, I was the Executive Steward at Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, where I led a team of 45 stewards and supervised the daily operations of the dishwashing, warehousing, and recycling areas. I am passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests, partners, and colleagues.
