About Nathan Cook

I am currently a Junior at La Salle University with a double major in Marketing and Management & Leadership. As a college student, I would describe myself as driven, adaptable, and organized. Originally from the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. I am passionate about marketing and implementing practices that are eco-friendly in businesses. Furthermore, I have developed the ability to be a great public speaker by taking sales and public speaking courses. During my time as a college student, I have taken courses that focus on team-objective projects in business. These team experiences have taught me how to be an effective leader and resolve any issues that I encounter. One of the first jobs I had was as a Busboy at a local seafood restaurant near my house. My work experience as a Busboy has taught me how to effectively communicate and work under pressure. I am someone who can successfully manage difficult customer situations. I have made many achievements not only academically but also with the student organizations on campus. I am part of a business fraternity called Delta Sigma Pi. This fraternity primarily focuses on professionalism, networking, business/social events, and community service. Throughout my time in the fraternity, I have taken on two roles. First, I was Vice President of Professional Activities this role involved planning seven professional events throughout two semesters and promoting professionalism. Currently, I am serving as the President of our chapter. I am excited to use my leadership and communication skills to ensure the future success of our fraternity. In the future, I hope to have a sales role and work with an effective team. In my spare time, you can see me working out, playing basketball, fishing, hiking, and watercolor painting.
