I joined with a OOW ticket as 3rd Officer. In my time with Stena I have progressed to gain my Master Mariners ticket. I have experience in ship handling and currently hold a Pilot Exemption Certificate (PEC) for Harwich (with pilotage through Felixstowe). Whilst not holding a PEC for Hoek Van Holland I have got experience in departures from this port.(with pilotage through the approach to Rotterdam) I have been involved in updating and getting a new muster list approved.I was involved in overseeing and liaising with Flag and Class for the refurbishment of the Stena Britannica’s passenger deck during the 2024 dry dock. When the crew rotation requirements allow I step up as relief Chief Officer.
