He has a background in emergency services and experience in the utility industry with power generation, gas distribution, and electrical T&D systems. He has 28 years of experience helping organizations deliver operationally focused safety training in high-risk industries. He received a Master\'s in Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management and holds several industry certifications including Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
