I am a manufacturing engineer / cnc programmer with a total of 19 years of experience in manufacturing in the metals industries. I have worked in these types of environments: heavy equipment manufacturing, job shops, fixture building, precision machining, injection mold design, 5 axis machining. I also have experience in machine shop management, department management, project management, team leader, lead programmer, and apprentice training. I have experience with Mastercam, Cimatron e13, Autodesk inventor hsm, Autocad and solidworks. I am familiar with Heidenhain, fanuc, fagor, haas, fadal, hurco and older mazak controls. I am also familiar with 3, 4 and 5 axis machining on both vertical and horizontal machining centers. Familiar with complex sinker edm setups and programming as well as electrode design. Some of my other skills include: general fabrication, robot programming, process development and improvement, tooling design, turnkey project implementation, vast experience in cutting tool selection and implementation, tool life management, tool library implementation and management.
