In addition to chemical compounds, I have participated in matters involving biotechnology, medical devices, augmented reality, building materials, computer software, internet and networking solutions, clothing, cell phone technology, multilayer plastic films, paper products, and optical discs (e.g, CDs).I twice served as President of the VBA\'s IP Council and Section. I co-chaired the ABA\'s Subcomm. on Recent Changes to Indian Patent Law, within the Int\'l Patent Treaties and Laws Division Committee. I also acted as a co-chair for a subcomm. of the Patent System Policy Planning Division Committee. I have served on the Cville Mayor\'s Advisory Council on Innovation and Technology, and was an Ambassador for the Cville Chamber of Commerce.
