ABOUT NATHALIE GONZALEZ RAMIREZ

I’m pursuing majors in Finance and Information Systems Management at UNC Greensboro. I’ve always been interested in how finance and technology work together to support better decisions, which has shaped both my academic focus and professional goals. I recently had the opportunity to support UNCG\'s Office of Finance & Administration as a Controls Intern, where I worked closely with the Financial Reporting team. In this role, I assisted with internal audits, reviewed financial documents, and helped ensure compliance with university policies. One of the most rewarding parts of the internship was supporting a major project to automate financial reporting and transition data into a new software system. This experience taught me how valuable accuracy, clear communication, and strong systems are when it comes to building trust and efficiency in financial operations. I’ve also had the chance to work on data analysis projects using tools like Power BI, Python, and SQL, skills I hope to grow further this summer as I join Wells Fargo as a Finance Transformation Intern. I’m looking forward to continuing to explore how thoughtful financial strategies can support innovation and change.
