She is a seasoned litigator whose prior litigation experience includes defense of personal injury actions, and subrogating high-value residential and commercial property damage claims where she obtained numerous successful resolutions and several seven figure recoveries through judgment, ADR, and negotiated settlement. Ms. Hackett has also served as underwriting counsel for the world\'s largest publicly traded P&C insurance company, where she demonstrated her expertise in developing, negotiating, and drafting director\'s and officer\'s liability insurance policy terms and conditions. In addition, Ms. Hackett\'s background encompasses extensive claims experience within the insurance industry, where she has served as a medical claims examiner, medical claims fraud examiner, director of property coverage litigation, and director of fidelity subrogation, recovering damages paid on fraud-related claims, including those arising from employee theft, cyber breaches, and advanced fee fraud schemes.Ms. Hackett is admitted to practice law in the United States Supreme Court; the State Bars of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia; the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and the District of New Jersey; and the United States Virgin Islands.
