ABOUT NATHALIA WOLF G.
As a Research Engineer at Inria, I develop and implement cutting-edge mathematical models and optimization algorithms to tackle complex challenges in cloud computing. In collaboration with OVHcloud, I contribute to the design and evaluation of scalable, energy-efficient cloud services, leveraging operations research techniques to improve performance and sustainability. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Operations Research, where my research advances state-of-the-art optimization methods for sustainable cloud computing. With several years of experience in applied research, I work with tools such as Python, AMPL, SQL, GIT, and Excel to drive data-driven decision-making and optimization strategies. My research is deeply aligned with sustainability. My master’s thesis focused on capacity expansion under carbon taxes, and my Ph.D. explores sustainable cloud computing, developing optimization strategies that minimize energy consumption and environmental impact. Goal: To develop smart and scalable solutions for the benefit of both society and the planet.
