In 2023 I turned my focus to AI development, specifically at the intersection of immersive and emergent storytelling, exploring new ways to create narrative in the world of creative fiction (and, sometimes, the real world). Right now I’m building custom GPT tools for creatives of all kinds to do their work more efficiently, and have more fun doing it. My tools are useful for novelists, game developers, filmmakers, comic book creators, and storytellers across various media. I\'ve spent the past decade as a co-founder, fractional CMO, digital marketing and brand strategist, marketing director, communications director, editor, writer, and business development consultant working for agencies, startups, and blue-chip brands in Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, and San Francisco. I\'ve done work for NBC, Howard Stern, Harley-Davidson, Wolverine, Groupon, Applebee\'s, Cinnabon, The Motley Fool, Silicon Valley tech companies, and more. My writing, projects, and other work have been featured in dozens of top publications, including CNN, The Atlantic, Forbes, Fast Company, Wired, and The Washington Post. I\'ve worked within the entire spectrum of businesses and non-profits, from startups to Fortune 500 companies in B2B, B2C, and D2C, always with a focus on leading-edge web marketing, strategy, and people-network development. I\'ve helped build and develop the internet for the past 25 years, almost the full time it\'s been around in its current (browsable, accessible) iteration. I was an early adopter and an instrumental trailblazer in the crowdsourcing and crowdfunding spaces, building multiple international philanthropy platforms with over members from 150+ countries.(Check out LoveDrop.us for an example.) I also have email marketing experience, managing distribution lists for clients ranging from my own personal list to corporate lists in the low millions.
