I am the founder and president of The Higher Education Literacy Provider (H.E.L.P). The HELP was established in 2019. Its mission is to bridge the financial literacy gap of parents and students who need assistance navigating their higher education journey. I started HELP to combat the student loan illiteracy cycle of unprepared students turned borrowers who needed to be taught how to borrow responsibly or were not fully aware of the debt burden they were assuming.I have worked in the Higher Education industry for over 19 years and can attest to how crippling student loan debt can be. Understanding repayment options and making decisions about federal loans can be overwhelming, confusing, and difficult for borrowers. Therefore, I offer consulting, mentoring, and student loan literacy to federal loan borrowers related to the following: FAFSA, Loan repayment and repayment options, consolidation, forgiveness, discharge, default, and default aversion.My goal is to HELP parents and students make strong yet informed and educated decisions on how to fund their education while exploring various aid options. Students need to be taught the long-term implications of their debt burden to avoid the pitfalls of overborrowing, which impacts their financial well-being. Empowering parents and students and teaching them their rights and responsibilities as federal loan borrowers will help them become good stewards of the money they borrow.I have reviews and recommendations on my LinkedIn and Facebook Business pages from people I have helped lower their payments, qualify for loan forgiveness, get out of default, buy a house, qualify for financial aid, and more. Student loan repayment is my area of expertise, and I specialize in results.
