About me:A drive to solve problems wherever I find them and an insatiable curiosity for how things work lead me to the field of engineering early in life. The need to be \"hands on\" when tackling new problems lead me to Mechanical Engineering as a discipline, and a strong imagination lead me to new product development as a career path. With a personal philosophy of \"if it\'s worth doing, it\'s worth doing right,\" I do best leading teams of highly motivated cross-disciplinary engineers while ALSO working as an engineer beside them through the entire product development cycle. While maintaining the ability to \"crunch the numbers\" as needed, my strongest contributions to the team are translating the visions of the client into concept designs and distilling from them the technical requirements the team needs to design to and the test plan we execute to ensure the final design fulfills the clients original goals.
